HR & VET Officer
The HR & VET Officer will be crucial in providing support for various human resources and VET administration tasks, with a focus on recruitment administration, on-boarding and offboarding, work experience, VET systems, compliance, project management and organisational support for the Human Resources Manager and Director of Skills and Training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-level administrative support for HR and VET functions.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation with exceptional attention to detail.
- Coordinate and manage compliance requirements related to HR policies and VET programs.
- Support recruitment processes, including advertising, onboarding, and maintaining personnel files.
- Assist with data management and student records related to VET.
- Liaise with staff, students, and external stakeholders professionally and effectively.
- Demonstrate flexibility in adapting to the evolving needs of the college.
Essential Criteria:
- Proven administrative experience, preferably in HR or education settings.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database management systems.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work effectively as part of a team.
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience in a school or educational environment.
- Knowledge of HR policies and VET compliance requirements.
